About the Company: online language school specializing in VIP and small group classes for all ages, focusing on English and Brazilian Portuguese. Role Overview: We are hiring a remote teacher (CLT Integral) full-time CLT position (44 hours per week - this is not an hourly/freelance role) to conduct English classes primarily for Brazilian students, as well as Brazilian Portuguese (PLE) classes for international students. This role also includes developing lesson plans and teaching materials. Methodology: Our approach is student-centered with low TTT (Teacher Talking Time). We prioritize conversational, engaging lessons where grammar is taught implicitly. We look for teachers who foster critical thinking and keep the student at the center of the learning process, using the students' mother tongue only when necessary to resolve doubts or clarify complex points, maximizing the immersion time. Key Responsibilities: Deliver online lessons (English ESL and Brazilian Portuguese PLE). Develop lesson plans and pedagogical content based on active methodologies. Manage student progress and adapt materials to their specific needs. Requirements: Linguistic Skills: Native or near-native Brazilian Portuguese and Fluent English (C1). Experience: Proven experience in ESL and PLE, specifically with student-centered methodologies and material development. Tech: Stable internet, high-quality webcam/mic, and proficiency in Zoom/Google Meet. Environment: Quiet, professional home office setup. Availability: Immediate start. Terms: Contract: CLT (Efetivo).
