About the Role: We are looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join a growing, international tech team. You'll work on developing and maintaining web applications, APIs, and frontend interfaces using JavaScript and TypeScript. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants hands-on experience with modern development practices and exposure to real-world business challenges. You'll collaborate daily with teammates across North America and have the chance to work with AI-assisted coding tools and modern frameworks. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript Build responsive, user-friendly frontend interfaces Create and maintain REST APIs and backend services Write clean, testable, and well-documented code Participate in code reviews and collaborative development using Git Debug issues and improve application performance Contribute to improving development processes and code quality Requirements: 1-3 years of professional software development experience Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript Experience with at least one modern frontend framework (React, Vue, or Angular) Familiarity with Node.js and backend development concepts Solid understanding of Git and collaborative development workflows Good understanding of REST APIs and web development fundamentals Experience or willingness to use AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot) Communication: Fluent writing and speaking in English Preferred Skills: Experience with Next.js or similar full-stack frameworks Familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar) Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright) Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Vercel) Experience with Docker and containerization Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines Benefits: Full-Time Position: MondayFriday with US time zone overlap Salary: $2,000 $4,000, based on experience 100% Remote work environment Flexible PTO policy Growth opportunities and regular performance reviews Work with an international, collaborative team The first step in our hiring process is an AI-powered interview conducted through Tally.
